Once again I couldn't out the book down once I started reading it! I loved the book and was up most of the night reading it. If you've never read anything by Ryan Attard then it's hard to explain how easily it is to become totally engrossed in his writing! And sins of the father part 2 didn't fail to disappoint me! It continues to bring you up to date with the Ashendale's and the secrets from the past. And hints at things not yet brought to light in the series as well! Great book. Could not put it down. Very engrossing
Great ending to the story. Amazing characters.
I started this book slow and easy. Just kicked back and relaxed. Then the nice leeches out and the evil rushes in! Ryan Attard is the best at twisting you into circles by changing directions so swiftly. I could not believe how smooth Alan became soooo bad. Gotta read this one.
I asked for more evil in Part 2 and Ryan delivered! Alan Ashendale proves himself to be a right bastard. This story is set 400 years after Part 1 and Alan has become an even more powerful Warlock. With an assortment of characters, including the ever present demon Mephistopheles, Alan embarks on a power struggle to take over the New World (USA).
This is a perfect climax to Part 1, although it could be read as a standalone.
My ninth read from author Ryan Attard who has moved near the top on my list of favorite authors! His books have it all, nonstop action, warlocks, magic, sarcasm, & humor. I very much enjoyed this book & can't wait for more. A cannot put down story that I read in a matter of hours, adding to the storylines from his first books. Thank you Ryan Attard (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
This is the second book in the prequel to Ryan Attard's Legacy series. This and Part1 describe where Eric and Gil's powers originated.
